President's Update
The 13th Convention of the International Confederation of Principals (ICP) was held in Cape Town, South Africa from 22-25 September, 2017. I attended in two capacities: as part of the contingent representing the Australian Secondary Principals Association; and as President of the Tasmanian Principals Association.
In her welcome ICP President Fiona Forbes said “our unique, forward thinking and global association works to improve opportunities and outcomes for all students. At the same time we aim to enable principals to lead effective, creative, empathetic, socially responsive and innovative schools”.
